Friyie

The Toronto-based rapper is best known across North America, specifically in the United States, for his 2017 single “Money Team” with over 5 million streams to date. Floyd “Money” Mayweather used this pulsing track as his entry song, catapulting Friyie into his biggest breakthrough yet. The star has put out other catching records like “Undefeated” (2017) and “Come & Get It” (2019). Friyie took a step further with the release of his debut project ANF: Ain’t Nothing Free in 2019, a 16-track album featuring blazing collaborations from the likes of Tory Lanez, Meeno Giinchy, and Roddy Rich, to name a few. The debut EP garnered a collection of mentions in notable publications such as Complex, Washington Post, Vice, and Sidedoor Magazine, among others. Following this, Friyie completely shattered the secrecy of his stardom with bodies of work: Before The Flight (2020) and Before the Flight Deluxe (2020). Friyie has since returned from his 2021 tour with Dexta Daps and, most recently, put out the oozing single “Come Over” (2022) featuring Bun B and TeaMarrr.
